about

After 16 years of running Little China, Carol decided in 2018 that the restaurant needed a redesign, a refreshing. 金葉 JIN YÈ is named after Carol's mother. The name means "Golden Leaf", a symbol of a light and precious piece of nature.

The interior of the space has been renovated imparting a modern sensibility.
The menu is revised to refocus on classics and sustained quality.
Carol also persuaded her mother to share the home-cooked dishes she enjoyed back in their hometown in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong.

Carol and her family and staff hope you enjoy the new space and the new additions to the menu. Her family lives in Richmond and is honored to continue serving the Point Richmond and greater Richmond and Bay Area communities.
